I want to thank everyone that came out to the KC Indoor track this season!
Overall we had a great turnout on most of the race weekends. Practice days didn't do as
well as we hoped. But, we had so much fun and I think the kids that took advantage
of the indoor track, showed better at those early ABA Nationals.
This season wouldn't have happened without the support of my wife and kids,
and I need to thank them for the support and help at the track. Jerry Rau, Cheryl Rau
and Vince Hall.....the season wouldn't have happened without you. Thank YOU so much!
There were several people that helped make this season possible, concessions, corner
workers, staging, signups, scoring, announcing, etc. I am not going to try and get everyone listed here,
since I'll forget someone's name and I'll feel bad about it. So, you know who you are
and I deeply appreciate everything you did to make the indoor track a success.
Huge thank you to the companies that were involved this season. KC Bobcat in Blue Springs, M.A.C. Corporation
in Blue Springs, ACS Log Build in OP, KS. Bicycle Shack and Bike Stop both deserve our thanks for the prizes
and their great support of our local BMX racing.
Will we have a track next year? Seems to be the question of the day. The only
answer I have is that I really don't know at this time.
I had a lot of fun "playing" track operator for 3 months. I am actually a little sad it is over,
but I know we have a lot of outdoor racing to do this year!
Thank you again, and we will see you at the tracks!

Race For Life
Ask for a collection envelope at sign-ups, proceeds go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. You do not have to be an ABA member to race this race. Get your friends and family involved that want to try out racing and help benefit a great cause.

KC Indoor BMX Opening Weekend
First off, thank you to all that made the trip out to the barn! We had several out of town racers!
We had a great turnout with 70 racers Saturday and 60 racers Sunday.
I think we have the dust issue taken care of, and we had very little dust Sunday.
We are already planning improvements for the track and sign-up area.
I want to thank all the volunteers in concessions, track officials, track builders and the emergency room doctor for the carbon monoxide poison treatment (long story). As with any great track, the volunteers are what make this happen! The list is just too long for me to remember and I think I lost a few brain cells with the "incident" Friday night. LOL
Special thank you to Jerry Rau and Vince Hall for the long hours helping build the track and to Cheryl Rau for her advice and her infinite wisdom as a track operator and to my family for their help, support and tolerating my absence for the last 3 or 4 weeks!

All practice days, and all single point events included.
Value is $318 for 16 single point races and at least 13 practice dates.
Cost would be $225.
